Kirom Ostonzoda was born on the 15th January, 1935 in Sarchashmaye village, in the district of Shahrisabzi, Qashqadaryo region of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
After finishing middle school, he studied from 1953-1955 at Samarkand Teaching University and from 1956-59 by correspondence course in the Philology Department of Dushanbe Teaching University. He served as the head of Rudaki Middle School from 1956-61. From 1961 until the present time he has been active in the field of teaching language and literature in middle school in the city of Dushanbe. He has received awards such as Outstanding Notable of Tajikistan, Veteran of Service, Teacher of Methodology, and numerous honorable mentions. He has published more than fifty scientific articles on metric rhythm in newspapers, magazines and dictionaries. He has been involved in the field of writing poetry for many years. He has been a member of the Union of Writers of Tajikistan since 1995. Summaries of his work appear constantly in newspapers, magazines and in collections such as Gonchahaye Umedbakhsh, Reshtaboron, and Darkhost.
