This is a very basic attempt at my first web page, and is unlikely to improve as all my spare time is taken up with actually building my car.
But as I have gained so much information from other sites of similar content I felt it only fair to give other Locost builders the opportunity to maybe learn from my experiences.
My Build started with a visit to my local VICROADS approved Engineer on the 10,sept, 2000, He was very helpful and gave me the confidence to continue, however my engine of choice “Toyota 4AGE” Did not Comply With Current ADR’s So To be Certain of compliance I purchased a Toyota 7AFE from a current model Corolla (their go’s the LOW in Locost).
Since then I have been going fairly well with my build and have posted some photos and information that I feel may benefit some builders.
As I said don’t expect great things from this page I sit in front of a computer all day and don’t want to spend my valuable car building time mucking with web sites.
SOME MODIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN
MADE TO THE STANDARD FRAME TO INCREASE RIGIDITY.
