Attitude Problem

Yes I'm upset!! And I may be copping an attitude about this but I believe I have a right to!! You would, too, if you have spent years of your precious life on earth with two men who you truly love with all your heart and soul and all they have done was waste their life on drugs and alcohol abuse and then trash their love they were to hold with their families with domestic violence, physical and emotional abuse.
     Why do that?? Why try to cover/hide your problems with drugs or alcohol? The drug will kill you eventually and in the morning the drugs and alcohol will make you feel worse than you did the night before and your problems will still be there only worse than before.
     And to bring violence and threaten to beat or kill loved ones makes no sense. If you're angry at someone take it out on a pillow. Or do phsyical exercise to get your frustrations out.
     The Lord sayd, "An eye for an eye a tooth for a tooth" sure...But He also says, "Judge not others lest ye be judged yourselves". Which means you'll be no better off than they are. Romans 12:19 says, "My friends, do not try to punish others when they wrong you, but wait for God to punish them with his anger. It is written:"I will punish those who do wrong, I will repay them," says the Lord."
     Matthew 5:22-24 says, "But I tell you, if you are angry with a brother or sister, you will be judged. If you say bad things to a brother or sister, you will be judged by the council. And if you call someone a fool, you will be in danger of the fire of hell. So when you offer your figt to God at the altar, and you remember that your brother or sister has something against you, leave your gift there at the altar. Go and make peace with that person, and then come and offer your gift."
     Let's not forget the Ten Commandments and what they have to say: "Thou Shalt Not Kill" "Thou Shalt Not Steal" "Thou Shalt Not Covet They Neighbor's Possessions" "Thou Shalt Not Committ Adultery" and "Honor Thy Father and Mother" (just to name a few).
     We have forgotten why we were put here on earth to begin with. We are to love one another and to live in peace and harmony. To do good deeds and to help others and to spend life spreading the good news about the wonderful blessings our good Lord has set upon us on this abundant earth.
     If you continue to walk in the footsteps of the adversary it'll bring nothing but heartache and trouble upon your life. You will hurt the ones you truly love and it will eventually destroy your life. I have two examples RIGHT HERE:

Barry F. Richardson

At age 12 he was burned in a serious house fire. One of the worst burn victims to ever survive. He was burned over 90% of his body. He was sniffing gasoline in the basement of his Aunt's house and dropped the gas tank which trickled to the gas furnace and caused the house to blow up with him inside.
Then at age 38 he contracted Lung Cancer from smoking crack through a Brillo pad. Because of the skin graphs he died a slow, painful death because they couldn't perform the kemotherapy treatments. He passed away early spring of 1999 at age 40. Click on his name above to learn more about him.

Ronald Gale Hardy

Ron is spending nearly 20 years of his life for something he did when he was 18. He had robbed his ex-employer at gun-point and stole over $10,000 in traveler's checks to buy dope. To this day he keeps going back in for parole violations because he has a lot of anger and hurt in his heart and he does not know how to vent it out in a positive way. I believe he's trying to turn his life around but it can only happen if HE wants it to and through prayer and the Word of God.
     It's sad having to be locked up not having the freedom to enjoy life and watching the rest of the world pass by through iron bars. Please click on his name to learn more about him.
     You know? God loves us so much. We are His children. We are children of the Lord. He has given us an amazing gift when we were born. It's called free will. The freedom to choose between right and wrong.. Why would someone want to mess that up by choosing the side of the adversary?
     If you would ask God for forgiveness right now and choose to live your life the way of Christ...Who was sent to be our example in life, you could be saved from the darkness of hell.
     Jesus would never go off in a tangent. He would pray to Our Father for peace, long-suffering and forgiveness.
     You should do unto others as you would want others to do unto you.
     Psalm 37:8 says "Don't get angry. Don't be upset; it only leads to trouble."
     I hope these pages will let you see just how precious life truly is and I believe now that God has sent these two men into my life to use as an example in hopes to turn the life around of a troubled individual facing a similar crisis in their life.
     Please...if this is you, seek help immediately. Check out the United Way. They have many wonderful programs to help turn your life around for the better. And check out your local church. Life is too short to waste.
     You can always seek out a friend, as well. Someone is always there to listen. You are NEVER alone.
     Ask God to give you direction in life. He will never fail you.
     And remember this: The wages of sin is death. Suicide is a sin. Death is hell. That is not a choice God wants you to make.
