| Okay, I dont know if anybody's gonna read this or even check out this page - but I'm gonna write anyway - This could be some pretty interesting stuff that might get you thinking. This is the section where I just blab on about my opinions on everythimg about Gundam Wing, okie? I LOVE Gundam Wing - it is truely one of the best anime's that has ever come upon this earth. It's main characters are of 5 young guys (totally attractive, too!) of differnt and mixed nationalities. This brings out and brings together the differnt culture in which each nation is brought up in and combined together to create an unbeatable team. The show has a wonderful amount of angst (me being the angst-junkie ^_^) from each of the characters. It's Wonderful! And has the perfect scenario to leave certain parts open to explore with the imagination and yaoi-themes. Duo- The violet-eyed American who always seems to be happy; always cheerful and witty despite his tough past. What I love about Duo is the fact that he had to grow up on the streets - of a very disfunctional and disorganized colony. Duo is obviously very hurt by his past - never wanting to speak about it and covering the past pains up with his happy exterior. This is ideal in leaving the possiblity open that Duo could have had a much tougher and difficult past than what has already been revealed - thus, creating our past rape, prostitution, or just down right hard life fics. They're wonderful, these fics. An angsty-Duo with a strong, protective Heero for security and comfort is my ideal fic!!! The 5 pilots together - Heero, Duo, Trowa, Quatre and Wufei are the perfect select of characters. They are soldiers who have to deal with the hardship of the war and must fight, destroy and kill constantly. Their situation has left them to inevitably become friends - them being the only one's who truely now how horrid the war can be; experiencing it first hand. They form a close relationship, which can be taken much advantage of in fanfics. Again, I love the fics when the 5 are close and good friends - there to help eacother out or comfort when something bad happens to one of them. I dunno why I love these fics - I find them really sweet and cute. So, concluding all that I've already written, the ideal fic for me would be Duo getting hurt in some way - emotionally or physically - and the other pilots there to reassure and help him get through it; while Heero would be Duo's soul-mate and one true love; the braided American's life-line that keeps him above the water. Heero and Duo love eacother and were meant for eachother - atleast in my opinion. Heero is strong for Duo who needs his strength to get through tough times and sometimes, even life in general. and Heero would be lost without Duo - The American being the only one to make him feel Human; to make him feel love. ;) I know it sounds completely typical and lame - but thats what I like best. Trowa and Quatre come next (typical again) because I feel they are meant for eachother. I wont get too much into those reasons now, though. I'll just say that...well, they are almost completely opposite. Trowa - quiet, stoic, mysterious, strong, and like Heero, keeps his emotions to himself. Quatre, on the other hand, is completely open - always wearing his heart on his sleeve. He is overly caring (I guess its due to his 29 sisters) and can open up to people easily. ...So, What can I say? opposites attract. And then theres the ever-loved Wufei. I think Wu belongs with either Treize or Sally; depending on the type of stroy theme and yaoi content. It also depends on how I decide to see Wu-bear. I Love Wufei, but we all know that sometimes he can be an arrogant prick. Thats why I can't decide on who is the perfect match for him. I've narrowed it down to two theories - Wufei is always saying how weak women are, therefore, practically yelling out how strong and dominant he is. This is why he should be with Sally - because sally is a woman - weaker than him - so Wu would be able to keep his dignity and control if with her - not having to be dominated over and declaired weak by another man. And remember, he WAS married to a woman before, so... But, Wufei may be overdoing the whole control and strong thing - maybe even taking it too far so that he would feel that he needed to just let go and let someone else be in control for once. This is why he should be with Treize. Treize admires Wufei, but has dignified strengths of his own (being the head of OZ and all...) - thus, will not allow himself to be dominated against. If with another man, Treize would have to be the one ontop all the time. So if Wu and Treize were to get together; Wufei would have to let Treize belittle him in a way. But Wu may not mind this after their first time - seeing that the feeling of not always being in command; to just let go and let someone else be incharge, isn't completely as terrible and disrespectful as he had thought - infact, even enjoyable. Dont get me wrong! I'm not talking about complete domination - like all that kinky BDSM stuff or anything - When I say 'dominant', I just mean the one always (or mostly) being 'ontop' and the one who is there to lean on and be strong for their love. So....yeah. I think that's all I need to say. What do you think? |
