Chronology of Updates for Cagiva-Based

Ducati 900 SS, SL (I through V), SP/CR (USA only), & FE

(for Model Years 1992-1998)

 

NOTES (table updated as of December 2005):

1.  Improvements/Updates are carried over in subsequent model years (i.e.: an improvement/update for

     the SP in one year is carried over to the SP’s thereafter).

2.  Some model years were sold in more than 1 year (i.e.: ‘94/‘95 SP/CR’s were sold from 1993 - 1995).

3.  SP/CR’s were only available in the USA market.

4.  FE’s outside the USA were model year 1997, while FE’s for the USA were model year 1998.

5.  * Indicates a mid-production update.

6.  Remember that 900 SS motorbikes were parts-bin specials, so there will always be some variances!
