Rudolph Nureyev Home

Across the mainland from Positano and Praiano are a few isolas, and one with a "castle" at the top... Today, good fortune was our's...  Our coastal guide Gennardo,  knew the foreman of the crew working at the castle atop the isola -  we were allowed a private tour of the island and the home of the famous Russian ballet dancer Rudolph Nureyev.    Pepe' the Foreman, offered us wine as he showed us this magnificent and unique home.  Nureyev, who is deceased, had a ballet studio in the castle!  This tour was a genuine and unexpected treat for us, especially considering we decided to stayed an extra day when we woke up this morning ... truly a golden, last minute decision on our part.
