| The Amalfi coastal area is one of the most magnificent sites I have ever been blessed to see. This was a breath-taking drive down the Amalfi highway... very winding, narrow and steep. We really didn't start taking pictures until we were well out of Roma, and onto the Amalfi highway. We often had a tendency to hold our breaths while passing large tourist busses along the road. Many tourists won't venture the coastal highway on their own out of fear... Pamela and I took turns driving, but mostly, she wanted to drive, which was certainly fine with me since I was so busy looking around in awe. I'll let these photos speak for themselves... We occasionally stopped along the way to get out and stretch and snap some photos, but mainly we decided to just drive... and a lovely drive it is. |
