May 11, 2010: Maciej Kozlowski passed away.

April 25, 2010: Actor Wojciech Siemion dies.

March 9, 2010: Zanussi makes movie on life of Queen Jadwiga.

February 14, 2010: Jerzy Turek passed away today. He was in many films and television programs such as Eroica (1958), "Czterej pancerni i pies" (1969-1970), "Janosik" (1973), Mis (1981), etc.

December 14, 2009: This website has a database of Polish actresses.

December 10, 2009: Wajda's new film SWEET RUSH (TATARAK) is on amazon.

November 11, 2009: Salto will be released by Polart video on Deceber 15, 2009 on polishmoviesonline.com; Zbigniew Cybulski stars in this film directed by Tadeusz Konwicki.

September 15, 2009: I got the news that in January 2010 MGE will release on DVD "Warszawa" and Polart Video will release on DVD "Last Stage."

September 4, 2009: The True Story of Janosik opens in Poland today.

August 11, 2009: Katyn is released in the USA. This one is a must for someone who enjoys Polish movies! It also has great special features with subtitles.

July 23, 2009: Wlatcy moch. Cmoki, czopki i mondzioly is being released on DVD in Poland. If you ever saw this cartoon you know it is pretty funny and this is a feature film that has English subtitles. This is not a cartoon for kids! I am sure it will be worth taking a look at it.

July 15, 2009: Zbigniew Zapasiewicz, one of Poland's most prominent actors, has died in Warsaw at the age of 74.

July 13, 2009: I posted my review for The War of the World: Next Century (Wojna swiatow - nastepne stulecie) on the 1980s page of this website. Good luck in finding a copy of it!

July 8, 2009: You can download a cool Summer Love poster at their website. Summer Love is out of DVD as Dead Man's Bounty in the USA.

July 7, 2009: If you haven't heard, U Pana Boga Zamiedza came out on June 19, 2009. This is the 3rd film in the popular series.

July 6, 2009: Mondo Vision is working on releasing Szamanka (Shaman Woman), Na Srebrnym Globie (The Silver Globe), Trzecia Czesc Nocy (The Third Part Of The Night), and Diabel (The Devil). I am sure it will be some time before they are out but this is great news!
