  • Bird Chores

         Having a bird means there is something to do every day! Here is a list of things you will need to keep up on to keep your bird happy and healthy.
         Every Day(or more):
    • empty, wash, and refill food dish and water drinker
    • supply your bird with fresh foods
    • interact and/or take your bird out of the cage for play
    • change cage lining paper
    • check your bird closely(check eyes, beak, cere, vent, toes, wings and skin closely)

         Twice a Week:
    • Give your bird a bath/mist

         Once a Week:
    • Empty out and scrub all the contents of the cage. Also wash out the bottom of the cage, litter tray, grill, and cage bars.
    • Check and clip toenails
