| WHAT YOU MAY LIKE TO KNOW ABOUT "PRAYING HEARTS SANCTUARY" OUR PURPOSE: This newsletter is a new mode of praying for others through the media of the internet. In a "BPD/BP Sanctuary" newsletter a few months ago, Patty Pheil put out a plea for volunteers who felt called of God to pray for the emotional and spiritual needs of those diagnosed with mental illnesses. Several of us responded to her. Patty introduced us and it wasn't long before we became acquainted through our emails, then volunteered for service, based on our God given talents. HOW THE NEWSLETTER MIGHT ENHANCE YOUR LIFE: If you subscribe to the newsletter you will receive: 1) inspirational Christian articles 2) favorite Bible portions 3) prayers 4) humor 5) recommended web sites 6) update on what's new at our web site. HOW THE WEB SITE MIGHT ENHANCE YOUR LIFE: If you are struggling with a mental illness or are a supportive other of someone with mental illness we invite you to visit our web site. There, we hope you can find: 1) Biblically based spiritual guidance 2) inspirational poetry and prose 3) educational literature The site is in the process of being created, so please keep in mind that more is yet to come. SENDING A PRAYER REQUEST: You may submit a prayer request to any of us as individuals by just sending it to our email addresses as listed on our profiles. Also, you may submit prayer requests to PrayingHeartsSanctuary@Yahoo.com. We will be reading requests submitted to our Yahoo! site on a daily basis. The others will be read as we have a chance to check our email. You do not have to subscribe to the newsletter in order to submit a prayer request. REGISTERING FOR NEWSLETTERS: You can join Yahoo! Groups on our homepage to get your name on our list. Then, each time we publish a newsletter you will receive it by email.
