A Change of Seasons

Part I: The Crimson Sunrise
In a time before the worlds existed and all was in the set of darkness, one being lived alone in this vast emptiness. He was called Iudicium, the only god of his time. His power was great but, he was lonely. He had no one to stand by his side, and thus, with a sigh he created the gods Neco, Derratus, Myris, Ariketon, Tetrakaton, Norris and Soltis. The gods set their hands together by their father's side and created the universe, galaxies, stars and worlds. After all this though, Iudicium still felt lonely. Shaking his head, he longed for more than the life he had held. Seeing their father's sadness, the gods set their sights on a world they called Annos. Setting their powers together, they created the life upon the world. The creatures were simple and lived with the nature around them, all keeping with in rules of the gods above them. But, not all was right in this world. As the gods took their roles, Myris and Ariketon fought over the mighty position of war god. Trying to declare their strength, they created life forms set for only fighting and destruction.
Billions of years past before Myris and Ariketon came upon their ultimate creations. Ariketon rose his hand high, creating the humans, creatures in direct image of the gods above. They were destructive though, and evolved quickly upon the earth, enslaving and wiping out other beings. Myris on the other hand, created the wardran. These were also created in image of the gods, but they were much larger in size, stronger, faster and more agile than any human of Ariketon's creation, but they were stupid.
As the battles went on, the other gods grew furious at the two creations and quickly asked Iudicium to intervene. Iudicium looked over the two species and narrowed his eyes. He did not admire the humans, they seemed to destroy all in their path. He saw the wardran in the same manner, but they seemed to be more in tune to the lands around them. Raising his hand, he instantly made the wardran to what he liked, intelligent warriors.
Moons past and the heated battle continued. Only now the wardran and humans were stopping the wars and battles became less violent. In this time, the wardran developed into a wonderful race. Their features became angelic in a sense. Their wing number ranging from two to eight. They could stand at a glorious nine feet tall at full adulthood, and some may have a pair of horns perfectly set on their head. Hair color and length ranged between regions and clans. It was sometimes customary for adults to cut their hair off and maintain it short, while in some clans, it was allowed to keep on growing. What was all in common was that they would never lift a sword against one another and never harm a being besides a human. This sacred pact was set and none had ever betrayed it.
