How to Tell the Difference Between Crows and Ravens
Crows and ravens look very similar, and it can be difficult to tell them apart. However, there are some unique differences between these two black feathered birds. Ravens are about 1/3 larger than crows with a longer neck and longer beak too. Their calls are different. A crow makes a "caw" sound, but a raven has a deep croak sound. Ravens tend to soar more, and you can see larger spacing between their feathers as they're in flight. The throat of a raven can sometimes look like it has a shaggy mane of feathers.
