There are Catherine-Wheels and revolving suns in the orchards and in the alleys near the maze—the setting sun paints the sky with green and red. There are Horatian nymphs with their hair dressed in the style of the First Empire, Siberian roundelays, and Chinese ladies painted by Boucher.
