I received this work of art from a very talented guy named Clint. He believed that Ambush deserved a book cover. I was in awe when I opened it up. See for yourself!

More of the graphics and artwork that Clint has created for me will soon be available in the art section of the Cantina Menu.  Thanks for all your hard work, Clint!  You're a star!

X-wing: Betrayal

Rating:  PG-13

Dramatis Personae

The Prologue (173 words)               Chapter One   (1201 words)

Chapter Two (2796 words)              Chapter Three (2758 words)

Chapter Four  (Coming Soon)

This novel is in the process of being written, as it has been for years.  It's not coming as easily as Ambush did, mostly because it's all my own this time. (Ambush started with the frame of Iris Bailey's short story "Retribution".)  It's also a much longer and much more complex story, filled with intrigue, dark emotions, danger, and death.  I'm not sure when it will be finished, but as of today, May 20, it is around 120,000 words (that's 244 pages in Word), and still has a fair bit to go.  Add to that the fact that I travel frequently for business, and you have an author with not nearly as much time on her hands as she'd like.

II have also hit upon a small snag... If any of you are following either the New Jedi Order or the works of Aaron Allston, you will see that he has a new novel coming out at the end of May 2006, titled "Betrayal".  Now if that isn't irony, I don't know what is!  So my book will soon be renamed a bit.  (If you have any good ideas, please let me know.  I'd like to keep the word Betrayal in there, but add something to it to differentiate it from AAs work.)
