This truck has a funny story of sorts to it. It was late August '93 when my wife drove our ole '79 F-250 (yes, an F word) into town. She was going to take it down to Columbus the next day so our son could use it to move. Well, the ole F-250 was not in the best of condition. It wandered like mad (even bad for a F@#d). She just didn't think it was a good idea to drive it all the way to Columbus. She then decided to go to the Chevy dealer (Gallucci) to look at new trucks. Not a single salesperson came out to help her (this is where they ended up losing a lot of businees from us). She then proceeded to the GMC dealer (Toth, where my mother-in-law had gotten her Olds Ciera). The salesman was right there asking her about what she wanted/was looking for. She drove a Red and Silver 1500 4WD Extended Cab Short Box home that afternoon as part of the test drive. 

I had been home and didn't find mom there. So, I went down the road to get tomatoes from a local fella. I noticed the new red GMC go down the road and got a funny feeling about it. Well, he pulled in the drive to find the red and silver Sierra in the drive. So, Jack told me what was going on. We took the truck back to the dealer later on. We went and test drove an F-150 Extended Cab. Jack hated it, and I wasn't as impressed with is as with the Sierra. So, we ordered a 1500 SLE Extended Cab Short Box (the one here), and Tom E rented a U-Haul to move. 

Just to let you know, we have gotten 4 vehicles from Toth including this truck and zero from Gallucci. There is this '94 Sierra, mom's '94 Cutlass Ciera (now since totalled), my sister's '91 Cutlass Ciera, and my '99 Sierra.
