MRS. TINNIE ELLIS DIES AT AGE OF 62

Lee, April 22 -- Mrs. Tinnie Armstrong Ellis, 62, widow of Floyd O. Ellis, died early this morning at her home on the Rome-Taberg Road after a long illness.

She was born in the Town of Annsville, July 14, 1878, a daughter of the late David and Jane Richards Armstrong. On March 14, 1901 at Whitesboro she was married to Mr. Ellis, who died February 19, 1936. She had always lived in the Town of Annsville and was a member of the Taberg Methodist Church and the Ladies Aid Society of that church.

Surviving are a daughter, Miss Nettie Ellis, at home; a son, Richard Ellis, Churchville; a granddaughter, Geraldine Ellis, Churchville; three sisters, Mrs. William Stage, Lee; Mrs. Ella Eggan and Mrs. George Peglow, Rome; two brothers, James Armstrong, Lee, and David Armstrong, Taberg; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at her late home Friday at 2 p.m. and interment, in charge of J.J. Stong, will be made in the family plot at Maple Hill Cemetery, Taberg.
