At the residence of Morris Swanson on Dunbar street, Rev. Abbott performed a ceremony, about 9
o'clock last evening, which made Henry S. Wakefield and Eva B. Swanson husband and wife. The
rooms were decorated with flowers and greens. While Mr. Fred Swanson was playing the wedding
march the bride and groom came forward attended by Arthur H. Wakefield and Bessie I. Swanson,
brother and sister of the contracting parties. The bride was dressed in white crepe and carried
white crysanthemums. The bridesmaid was very becomingly gowned in pale yellow. After the
ceremony a tasty wedding supper was served in a way that made everyone of the fifty guests
nearly as happy as the bride herself. The tokens of affection presented by the friends were
numerous and handsome. Mr. and Mrs. Wakefield will make their home with the groom's parents,
Mr. and Mrs. George Wakefield, for the present.
