MY TESTIMONY I have known God existed since my early childhood. I have felt His presence inside of my heart and have slept in the palm of His hand when life just wasn't worth living anymore. God, has never forgotten me, even though there were times in my life that I tried to ignore His teachings. When I was 15yrs old, I was diagnosed with a life threatening illness -Kidney Failure. I was very angry and fell away from Him. I thought, "If He loved me then why did He allow this to happen to me?" I had to overcome more than 30 surgeries and over four years of dialysis before I received my kidney transplant, January 30th, 2001. God never let me go. He is beside me through all my pain and struggles. He has given me a new life and a healthy body. I have only one purpose here on this world, and that is to be His child. To love the Lord with all my heart and to use my struggles to help others. For all things ultimately do work together for the good. I discovered that even though life is not easy or fair, (which He never said it would be) He is always with me. ...it took me years to figure out that Jesus meant what He said in Matthew 28:20. " ...I will be with you always... " And now that I know, I will never be forsaken! John 15:12-13 " This is my commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that one lay down his life for his friends." I had the opportunity to be a part of a ministry trip to Honduras in 7/2004 |

| WHAT'S IN A NAME? When I was little, I was given two wallet sized cards. Each one had my name meaning and verses from the Bible on them. I thought that God had personally chosen the meanings for my name- ESPECIALLY JUST FOR ME! I treasured them as I grew, and even now I still do. I have never given in to the idea that my names were not chosen by God, and I draw strength from that belief because, My name meanings are: "HELPER OF MANKIND" and "DEAR TO MY HEART" " And Jesus said... 'YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.' This is the great and foremost commandment." Matthew 22:37 |
