You must adopt two rats from ARAR or have another at your home. When you adopt from ARAR, you must keep us updated on your new rat/s. You must sign an adoption contract, and for certain ones a breeding contract. You must have at least a year of rat experience. NO FEEDERS! If you decide to show a rat from ARAR you get permission and in the show name have ARAR. If the rat has a name then you must keep its name, you may give it a nickname but when showing you must keep its name. (If you are given permission to breed, then in the pedigree of the kits you must list its name as well) All rats except rescues or accidental litter come with pedigrees. You also must keep your rat in quarantine for a minimum of 2 weeks, if you do not take this precaution then ARAR will not be held accountable. Before our rats go to their new homes they are quarantined for 2 weeks to make sure they have nothing and then are given to their new homes. If you would like to adopt (or place a hold for a rat we have later on) then please email me with waiting list in the headline, I delete mail with no subject and from people I don't know, so please make your subject obvious. It's first come first serve, if two people are looking for blue males then who ever asked first is the one who gets to adopt, I find this the only fair way, (unless I feel that the second home is more suitable of course).
