Hello and Welcome to Alice's Rattery and Rescue!
We breed and rescue rats and have been for about 8 years now. We are located in Parkland, just south of Tacoma. All rats are treated kindly and are spoiled ratten. ^_^
We currently house about 20 some odd rats (and some are really odd. J )
My name is Kassanndra and I am the founder of Alice's Rattery, so called because my room, which is where the rattery is located, is Alice in Wonderland based, from the paintings on the walls (literally folks, I've got murals and single paintings acutely on my walls) to a simple ornament that reminds me of Alice in Wonderland.
Other then my rats I have 6 hamsters, 2 fish, a ferret, a dog, 2 felines and a horse. Although she is not living at my home.
I love rats, they always seem to bring a smile to my face, I couldn't imagine my life without them.

The loving Peanut has passed away.
She was the sister of RRAR Pepper.
She was one of the sweetest rats I had ever had the
pleasure of knowing, even if it was a short time.
She will be remembered always. Also Today Mia of RRAR
Had RRAR's Kagome put to sleep to save her any more
suffering. She was brought here that afternoon and buried
flowers were placed on her grave in memory of her loving
personality when she was still with us

Mia of RRAR came to pick Kagome up today to spend her last
few days alive with her. She was rather upset as was I.

. When getting food for Reanna I turned my
back for a brief second and she fell.
She twitched for a bit but didn't die. I thought that
the fall had broken her neck but it turns out she was
just in shock. I thought maybe at least her leg was
broken but even that was fine.

. Came home to find that Honey Bunch
had also passed away. She made it very far and
I did the best I could for her, but at least she is
in a better place now. She was my little baby and
I won't ever forget her.

. Sugar Pie has passed away. She survived a lot
longer then I think she would have if I had not made
sure she was fed and warm. She had and I think she
may have had mega-colon. We will miss her very much.

seems not that far behind. The female from
the two that died were named Diablo (berk buck)
and the other was named Infinity (hooded doe).

Today RRAR's Aurora passed away. She will be dearly
missed by all.

. A baby passed away, we're sure it was a girl.
I named her Valentine. I hope she died quickly and
it wasn't painful for her. Poppy had her babies at 10:33
this morning. At 11:37 the babies were counted and
held for the first time. There are 11 lovely squiggly babies.

. Violet has now gone to the rainbow bridge.
She died in labor. She had the sweetest personality and
will truly be missed by everyone who knew her. After she
died (immediately after) we tried to see if we could rescue
the babies, but they were all dead. What was strange is that
they were all in the same placenta sack so it's like they were
all twins which is probably one cause of her death, we're also
sure she had a uterine infection.
