Japanese traffic enforcement officers (such as those featured in “You’re Under Arrest!”) use the sub-compact Honda Today model as their standard patrol. This car is ideal for manoeuvering the narrow alleys and crowded main streets of Tokyo, but its two cylinder engine does not make it a vehicle suitable for pursuit of other cars.
(This is the car that Aoi and Yuriko use when on the beat, for example.)
