Squirrel Girl (Skill Point Costs: Cyberpunk)

Total Character Points: 45
Total Skill Points: 50

Squirrel Girl is a 14-year-old girl who exibits several superhuman abilities, possibly due to some bizarre mutation. Most obviously, she possesses a bushy, three-foot-long tail that she can use to strike or wrap around opponents, when she entered puberty, started manifesting mutant powers. She has the ability to speak with squirrels and to call them to aid her. Unfortunately for her, the combination of her youth and esoteric, lowkey powers ("You can talk to squirrels? Go away, kid.") causes superheroes and supervillains alike to not take her seriously.

However, some have learned that they ignore Squirrel Girl at their own peril. Some months ago, she sought out Iron Man, hoping to become his sidekick. While she was showing off her powers, Doctor Doom attacked the pair. It seems the monarch of Latveria's hi-tech armor wasn't quite squirrel-proof, and Squirrel Girl and her furry friends saved the day.

Monkey Joe is Squirrel Girl's pet squirrel. Whether he is well-trained or smarter than the average squirrel isn't clear, but he helps her organize the squirrels she summons, serving as a sort of pack leader for them. Where Squirrel Girl goes, Monkey Joe can be found as well.

*Unique Character Ability: Call Squirrels

Squirrel Girl has the ability to call squirrels to her within 1/4 of a mile radius by calling out in "squirrel language." 2d6x10 squirrels answer her call, assuming she is in a place where squirrels live. She is able to communicate her will to them, and they are willing to fight to defend her if need be. Her pet, Monkey Joe, helps organize the squirrels. (This ability also acts as the Animal Friendship attribute, at the same level but limited to squirrels.)

Suggestions for Use

Squirrel Girl is the kind of would-be superhero who might seek out Lovebunny and Mr. Hell in the hopes of expanding their duo into a team. She also exhibits the kind of weird powers that might make her an attractive agent for the JCIA; she could encounter Yura and Tamuro while they are training in the United States.
