Aeon Flux (Skill Point Costs: Cyberpunk)

Total Character Points: 63
Total Skill Points: 290

Model. Dominatrix. Mercenary. Double-Agent. Assassin. All words that describe the mysterious woman named Aeon Flux. She is a sexy, leather-clad one-woman commando force who can infiltrate even the most secure locations and dispatch targets with a single shot from her Flux Universal Gun, or with a single deadly martial arts strike.

Aeon Flux is recognized as a leader in a rebel movement devoted to destroying the oppressive government of Chairman Trevor Goodchild and reuniting the nations of Monica and Bregna under one democratic government. Or is she? Rumors abound that she is secretly Trevor Goodchild's lover and that the swath of anarchy she cuts across his orderly technocratic nation is a carefully orchestrated ruse to put her in a place where Goodchild can destroy his opposition once and for all.

*Features and Accessories: Hollow Tooth and Bionic Contraception Device

Aeon Flux has at least two cybernetic enhancements of her body. The most minor of these is a hollow right molar. This airtight and vaccuum-sealing space can contain a tiny dose of lethal poison or can be used to smuggle microdots or samples of deadly chemicals stolen from Trevor Goodchild's labs. The hollow tooth can also be fitted with a tiny camera that is powered by Aeon's nervous system. Aeon also has cutting had cutting edge birth conrol and STD protection put in her body. When she has intercourse, the bionic contraception device unleashes thousands of nanobots can kill sperm, viruses, and nuetralize other dangers.

*Personal Gear: Flux Universal Gun (FUG)

Aeon Flux weilds a deadly, custom-made arsenal created by Monican weapons expert Lito Mentragon. Mentragon's masterpiece is the Flux Universal Gun (FUG), a lightweight firearm designed to be reconfigured for four distinct different purposes and types of ammunition. The FUG is a Major Personal Item. In its most basic confiuration, the FUG fires standard cartridge and is intended for close-quarter use. The gun can also be set to fire underwater, be converted into a sniper rifle configuration that will allow it to fire incindiary bullets, and finally to serve as a launcher for small missiles, cord and miniature grappling hooks, or seven sub-atomic projectiles. A built-in laser guided scope can also be switched to night vision with the push of a button. It takes two rounds to switch the FUG from one mode to another.

The FUG is a semi-automatic weapon that always fires one projectile per full of the trigger. When used  as a pistol, sniper rifle, or underwater weapon, it inflicts 10 damage, with the incindiary rounds inflicting 20 damage. The small missiles inflict 15 damage. Ammunition is loaded with a magazine in front of the trigger. Each magazine holds 20 rounds, or five small missiles/grappling hooks.

The World of Aeon Flux

Aeon Flux's bizarre adventures take place against the backdrop of a growing war between two nations, Bregna and Monica. In this hi-tech future, the Orwellian government and shadowy operatives of Chairman Trevor Goodchild works feverishly to rewrite history to suit their purposes while spreading oppression throughout all layers of society. If Goodchild has his way, up will be down, as the world is remade in his image. Aeon Flux and a small group of brave freedom fighters struggle to stop Goodchild. Each foe they face is stranger than the one before, as Goodchild's secret research labs dabble in everything from techno-occultism to genetic engineering to cybernetics reverse engineered from stolen alien technology.

Suggestions for Use

The world of Aeon Flux and the machinations of Trevor Goodchild can conceivably co-exist with the world of Armitage III. Armitage could be drawn into a Bregnan or Monican plot, or perhaps Aeon Flux could cross paths with Ross or Armitage while attempting to sabotage a top secret meeting between Goodchild and representatives of the mega-corps. A more extreme idea would be to cross Aeon Flux with the far-flung future of Madame Tarantula; enough weird tech exists within Trevor Goodchild's government that time travel experiments are not beyond a possibility.
