She possess great powers, but her powers are limited when she is separated from her 'hagaromo'-- a feather cloak (again, I think). Ceres claims that she was forced to marry Mikagami. She appears to be a cold-blooded creature... but is actually just majorly confused after the Mikagami-incident. She doesn't trust humans after what Mikagami did to her (not letting her out of the house, talk to other people, killed her kid, ya know...) Ceres is kinda the split personality of Aya. She 'comes out' when Aya is agitated or when she wants to. Her main reason in existing is to find the hagaromo and to find out whether the man she loved... ever loved her...

Notes: Mikagami is Ceres's husband, the other ancestor of the mikage family. He is also known as Shiso and Mikage. Very possesive of Ceres. To him no one is to touch "his woman". He was very crafty, knowing when to switch to Aki's personality from his own without letting Aki gain control of his own body. He is very clever in using the body he inhabits. Although he appears to be a baddie, he WAS actually a kind and VERY gentle man before Ceres gave him some of her powers. So in one way or another, Ceres was the one who made him change drastically (for the worst). However evil he is, he loves Ceres a lot and basically, he was just afraid of losing her. So however ruthless he appears to be, he was actually rather vulnerable... Just a guy who wants his wife back...

Anyway, Tooya appears to be different from others from the start. He was the HERO who saved Aya (Big deal...) He was employed by the Mikage family to kill Aya... but he fell for her later. He gave up the chance to find out about his past for Aya. (The Mikage family claimed that they were the only one who knew about his past)He risked his life fighting with Mikagami... just for Aya...
