"Interview with the Vampire" is a magnificent motion picture adaptation of Anne Rice's first book from the "Vampire Chronicles", the homonymous best seller.

Louis, a two-hundred-years-old vampire, is about to tell his story to a young and brave journalist. It began in 1791, he was only 24 when he saw his last sunrise before a vampire offered him what he most wanted after all the bad things he'd been through, death. However, he was offered something more. Lestat gave him also the opportunity to be his companion, which he accepted. And so, Louis became a vampire.

Half a century later, Lestat gave him an unexpected present, a daughter who would be forever young.Claudia was their doll, a child with curly blond hair who learned more than what Lestat taught her. Not getting all the answers she looked for from Lestat, she tried to find them in her own way. With Louis' help and leaving Lestat behind, she traveled to Europe. It was in Paris, with a vampire called Armand, that they found more and less then they expected.

Tom Cruise is the diabolic and charismatic Lestat, a character who is performed with style and passion. Brad Pitt is Louis, taken by Lestat to immortality and tormented by the fact that he must kill to survive.  Stephen Rea, Antonio Banderas, Christian Slater and Kirsten Dunst also have brilliant performances.

Directed by Neil Jordan, the sexy "Interview with the Vampire" presents us with a whole pack of emotions and fun.
