....is mercilessly killed by Snow, who also was in the process of killing the boy, until Miss Luk(Fire Dragon) jumped in to ask Snow to let the boy go. Snow, struck with disbelief at Fire Dragon's desire to save a human life, runs away to safety. That night, for the first time, Fire Dragon cries for the murdered parents, as well as for the now orphaned boy. She decides to unchain herself & her services to the Evil Prince Six. The next day, Fire Dragon meets up with Snow pleading Snow to change her ways, & that there's still time for a new beginning. Snow, on other hand is loyal to her Prince, & vows to finish the job that she had started. To kill the Prime Minister. And so that night, an attempt on the P M's life by Snow, is again interrupted when the guards attacked her to defend the PM. Chun, once again duels with Snow. (Another amazing fighting sequence!) Chun almost gets killed by Snow, however gets saved by Fire Dragon, when she blocked Snow's attempt. As Snow demanded a duel with Fire Dragon, she flies away to safety. And as Fire Dragon chases after Snow, her veil suddenly falls off revealing her true identity to Chun. In the nearby woods, a duel between Fire Dragon & Snow takes place(By far the best, & the longest fighting sequence in the movie!) Snow gets killed by Fire Dragon, & is met by Chun, & Yuen. Yuen then finally gives the letter(that caused so many lives!) to Fire Dragon only to find out that the ink was blotched, unreadable. Fire Dragon not really caring anymore about the letter tells Yuen, how she plans on putting Prince Six out of commission. Together, they attack the Evil Prince, and his guards. (The last fighting sequence, & definitely superb!) All three of them successfully penetrated the Prince's heavily guarded desert fortress, & at the end the duel was between Fire Dragon, & Prince Six. After a brief fighting sequence Fire Dragon threw herself along with Prince Six in a fiery pit, killing them both. Only Chun, & Yuen survives at the end.

Fire Dragon DVD released by Thundermedia. It has all the features of the Ocean Shores Ltd. DVD except this DVD only has Mandarin audio, & with Chapter Stops.
Final Note:
"Another Masterpiece by Yuen Wo Ping. A well executed, fast paced martial arts  movie with a touch of comedy thrown in. One thing you'll notice right away when watching this movie, is the camera angles. As I said before, it's an amazing use of dynamic imagery. It's almost the same style of cinematography as in"The Tai Chi Master". Fire Dragon however, completely holds it's own regard for delivering high intensity, gravity-defying stunts that will leave you breathless. And besides, having to watch the beautiful Brigitte Lin, for 90 minutes definitely isn't bad either...One of my favorites indeed!!!"

From 1 - 10 Dagons without a doubt I give "Fire Dragon" a well deserved rating of 10 Dagons.
Fire Dragon DVD released by Ocean Shores. It has Dual Language (Cantonese & Mandarin), Dolby Digital Surround, Letterbox, & No Chapter Stops.
DVD Review:
"Fire Dragon"  has been released on DVD format by two Compaies. Thundermedia, (a Taiwan based distributor). And by Ocean Shores, (a Hong Kong based distributor). I have never viewed the Thundermedia DVD, to compare the quality of it to the Ocean Shores DVD. But for the most part, I chose the Ocean Shores DVD for it has the "Original" Cantonese languange. My only gripe is that, there is no Chapter Stops, & no Extras, not even a Trailer. But it does not in any way prevent you from enjoying the movie, in its whole entirety. All in all a pretty straightforward DVD.
