| Fire Dragon, has some of the best fighting sequences I have ever seen. The action is very fast, & fluid. Mix it with dyanmic camera angles, along with Yuen Wo Ping's brilliant mastery of fighting choreography. Makes Fire Dragon a blast to watch! And let's not forget Brigitte Lin Ching-Hsia, (Fire Dragon) who brings beauty, grace, & fierceness to the character. The story begins when Chiun Ming, general to the emperor gets attacked by Fire Dragon, who's after the secret letter he had intercepted. A letter written by the Evil Prince Six, describing a revolution against the existing government.A proof of his betrayal. As Fire Dragon continues to attack General Ming, his brother Yuen Ming(Max Mok) comes to his aid. While Fire Dragon is distracted by the other guards, Genral Ming managed to slip the letter along with an identity charm to his brother. Telling him it's of the utmost importance that General Lu, recieves the letter, in order to alert the Prime Minister of the Evil Prince Six's uprising. General Ming gets killed by Fire Dragon, & Yuen barely escapes. Yuen mildly wounded ends up in a quaint village, home of the local circus troop who nurses him back to health. Madam Yu, the leader of the troop falls madly in love with Yuen, and swears to court him by any means necessary. As soon as Yuen was conscious, he said his thanks, & bidded fairwell. But not before promising to Madam Yu that if he ever comes back, he will have to stay & serve the troop. When he met General Lu however, he had no identity charm, & no letter. Suspecting that Madam Yu must've taken the letter, he comes back to see her. Admitting that she had indeed taken the letter however, too bad for Yuen. Since he did come back to the village, he will have to stay & fullfill his promise, to serve the troop. Although after learning that Madam Yu's brother is Chun Yu, an official to the Prime Minister. He figured he might as well stay & get to know Chun Yu, in order to give the letter to the Prime Minister. Meanwhile Prince Six, although dissappointed at Fire Dragon for failing to retrieve the letter gives her another mission. This time to assassinate the Prime Minister himself, during a ceremony that the Prince is having. Madam Yu's troop has been hired to perform in the ceremony as well. During the performance Fire Dragon, masquerading as one of the troop suddenly attacks the PM(Prime Minister). But instead gets attacked by the PM's guards including Chun Yu. After some amazing fighting sequences, Yuen joins the fight, & attracts Fire Dragon's attention. Remembering him as the last person to have the letter, she retreats, and is chased by Yuen, & Chun. In the woods as Yuen, & Chun seperated to look for her, Fire Dragon attacks Yuen freezing his leg nerves so he can't run. She demanded the letter, threatning to kill him if he doesn't give it back. Yuen tells her that if she kills him, she will never get the letter back. So she lets him go for now. As Chun finds Yuen curing his nerves, they suddenly hear someone screaming for help. When they got there, they found Miss Luk, a beautiful maiden(Fire Dragon in disguise) who fell in a poisoned bear trap. With no choice, they carried her back to the village. As they nurse her back to health, everyone admires her beauty, they give her clothes, they give her food, they let her stay in the village for however long she likes. Everyone likes her, except of course Madam Yu. She suspects that Miss Luk is after Yuen. But she has no choice however, because Chun is staying with them along with Yuen in the village. Miss Luk (Fire Dragon) slowly changes personality as she is loved by these people she doesn't even know. She's surprised at how much they care for one another, and the value of human life. Being a cold-blooded killer, she hasn't recieved any of these feelings of, caring, giving, & loving until now. Although still determined to retrieve the letter from Yuen, bit by bit, she's changing into a good caring person. Weeks go by & the Evil Prince is getting antsy, so he sends Snow. His other assassin who hasn't done much killing since acquring Fire Dragon to do all the dirty work. She of course is driven to prove to the Prince, that she can get the job done fast! When Snow attacks the troop, Yuen joins in as well as Chun, who both thought that Snow is actually Fire Dragon. Fire Dragon on other hand knew from the beginning that, that the attacker is Snow decided to lay low so she won't blow her cover. However, the parents of a boy she had grown fond of....................................... CLICK TO CONTINUE.... | |||||||||||||
