The Call of the Crossby Arnost Vevoda
Sweating blood, foreshadowed grief
Soldiers of humanity - sought out profanity.
With crude arrangement, - feud amended
Lashed with a whip, shredded his human form.
Viewed as a regal pretender - of no earthly use.
His disciples scattered - when enemies regathered.
Driven in spikes - hands and feet marred,
The universe took leave for a miracle reprieve,
At that moment, 'The Father' turned his head in grief,
When in torment Jesus pardoned the thief. With His anguished cry, He died.
The earth darkened as fierce storms raged,
The veil that shews God from men was torn in two.
If Satan's ploy was man's demise,
Misconception - in the world's perception,
Do you also confess Jesus as Saviour and Lord? |
