What must I do to be saved?

Some sentence huh... But what does it mean?
Back in the day it meant that you were supposed to wear some out-dated, old-time
clothes, like something from the early 1900s, pull your hair back severely if
you were a woman and cut it cropped up short if you were a man, be dirt-poor so
you would be humble, and basically act as if you were not allowed to have fun.

Wait! Fun? Happiness? And why not? Think about this, if you belong to the
Almighty, if you are a child of the King, why would you have to live in poverty?
If you belong to the Divine Being who created everything, why wouldn't you have
blessings galore? And since you are an heir / heiress to royalty, why on earth
wouldn't you be happy?

It states in the Bible that we should be at peace with the world and ourselves.
3 John 1:2 says: Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in
health, just as your soul prospers.
Philippians 4:19 God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory
by Christ Jesus.
Prosperity doesn't sound that much like poverty, does it... and even though
money does not bring happiness, it sure does feel good to have our bills paid up
every month, doesn't it?

God wants us to be peaceful and to feel rest. Contentment, in a way, could be
called "happiness".
Matthew 11:28 & 30 says: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. 30. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.
He lifts our spirits and helps us shoulder our burdens. We are at peace when we
are close to our God. From personal experience... I never found peace--in all my
life--till I found my Lord. People, money or things ... none of them can give
you happiness for very long. If you want true peace, true happiness and not just
fleeting moments of it, try God.
He cares for you and proves it time and time again.
1Peter 5:7 Cast all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.

He wants us to go to Him for everything, not just when we need Him, even though
He will not turn you away. But since we, who are made in His image, like it when
people come to us and compliment us, or tell us if we've done something right,
wouldn't the Lord like it just as much?
Colossians 4:2 says: Continue in your prayers, always entering in it with
thanksgiving.
When Jesus taught his disciples how to pray, this is what He said:
"Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name."
He immediately praised God, which would, in essence, be "thanksgiving" to Him.
Just thanking Him for anything and everything good that has ever happened to us
will not hurt His feelings.
John 11:41b ..Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You
have heard Me.

Being happy, prosperous and enjoying life sure doesn't seem like a bad thing.
This being the case, why are so many reluctant to take that step?
So let me lay it all on the line here: What have you got to lose? What will you
really give up, to gain happiness, prosperity and perhaps even the love you have
searched for all your life?
Yes... what have you got to lose?

Simply pray this prayer: Father, thank-you that you always hear me when I talk
to you. Thank-you that you never say, "go away".
I accept that Jesus is your Son, and my Savior. I ask that He would forgive me
of my sins and come into my life.
You said in John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten
Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
I believe and now I am saved! Praise you Jesus, I am a new child of the King!
~ Amen and Amen

It's that simple and now you are free!
God bless.
