11/08/00: The Results from 11/01/00 | ||
Well, I had my follow up exam today and got some very good news....everything is normal. I do have an infection but it isn't serious, I have had it for a long time and I have no symptoms of it. It will be treated in the 2nd tri-mester. In the first update I said that the doctor wanted me to take blood on the 1st of Nov and the 3rd of Nov and if the hormone level rises within the 2 days, then the pregnancy is normal. Well, my hormone level went from 171-474. So, it rose and as far as we can tell, everything is normal...a load off of my back! You might be looking at the hormone level number and saying that it isn't very high and you would be right. I am only about 3 weeks pregnant so my hormone level is expected to be pretty low. So, thanks to all of the prayers I received....they came through...isn't God great? The only kind of symptoms I am having right now is intense irritability. For those of you who knew me before the pregnancy are thinking...well, that's nothing new... but I am a lot more irritable now than I have ever been. But, when I get so excited and upset that my pulse shoots through the roof, I have to tell myself that there is a little one inside counting on me to bring it into this world healthy and I calm right down. Well, since I am so early the doctor wants to see me in a month, unless something goes wrong..which we are hoping will not happen. So, my next update will be on 12/08/00.
