ERX849K - This IIa One Ton is believed to be an ex Southern Electricity Board vehicle, as it was light green and registered new in Reading. Affectionately nicknamed "Dougal", It is thought to have had an hydraulic winch, as per "Seb", my own One Ton. Its is currently a bronze green full soft top and has been fitted with a Nissan 3.3 Litre engine and Nissan Patrol Gearbox. It has been bought by series II club member Matt Fowles and will be rebuilt to original standard. It is thought to have been a hard top when new. It has a Salisbury rear axle, extra fuel tank and many modifications for use by the electricity board. Photos by Nick Kilvert.
