Roll of Honour
These pages are dedicated to the fallen of Han Shinko Fenikkusu. May their sacrifices lead them to new station on the wheel of life.
Mitsuzama Gen
The second Mitsuzama brother, Gen was a
courageous warrior. Long trained to take his uncle's position as Han champion,
he took the role easily and proudly when Inubi led him and his brothers away
from ruin. Unfortunately, Gen was cut down treacherously, leaving his less
experienced younger brother to take the responsibility.
Mitsuzama Haru
The younger brother of Mitsuzama Gen and Inubi, Haru
followed his brother as Han Champion after Gen's death. When the Mitsuzama
family went their separate ways after leaving Nippon, Haru travelled on his own,
exploring the world. After Inubi and Gen joined the Liberati and the Jhereg at
the Grand Fayre of Teutonia in 1101, several members of the family were
reunited, and Haru learned of his brother's death. Solemnly, he took his
brother's Daishô and took his place behind Inubi as defender of the Clan. At
the Renewal of 1101, however, he fell in battle, falling into one of the
Jhereg's own death pits.
Mitsuzama Shinjou
The youngest Mitsuzama was the Keeper of the Temple of the
Rising Phoenix, keeping a duty which effectively fell when the temple was burnt
to the ground. A devout woman, she retreated to the slopes of Mount Gummaresh
when she heard of her brother's death - mountains being holy to her people - and
fell to the traps left by the Jhereg's ancient enemy.
Mitsuzama Takashi
A cousin of Inubi and his brothers, Takashi was a wanderer
who had picked up the practices and mannerisms of foreigners over the years. He
fell in with his family when he encountered them late in 1101. Regrettably,
Takashi was struck down by bandits and left for dead. His family remains hopeful
that they will take revenge for their fallen brother.
