Welcome to the Temple of Han Shinko Fenikkusu (House of the Rising Phoenix). This is the website of Han Shinko Fenikkusu which is part of the Liberati group. The Liberati and hence Han Shinko Fenikkusu are members of the Jhereg faction in Curious Pastimes' Renewal Live Action Roleplay campaign.

"Han Fenikkusu (House of the Phoenix) was a dishonoured Nipponese house which was betrayed by the local Daimyô (overlord). Because of the strict honour code of the Nipponese families, the house was ordered to commit seppuku (ritual suicide). Rather than see the name of the Fenikkusu ground into dust, the Hanshu (lord), Mitsuzama Inubi, chose the unthinkable second option. The Temple of Han Fenikkusu was burnt to the ground by the family rather than the Daiymô seize it for his own. Inubi with his family and what remained of his retainers entered into voluntary exile and travelled into the west."

"After making their way across the sea, through the desert wastes and into Franconia, the remnants of Han Fenikkusu made their way to the great Fayre of 1101. At the Fayre Inubi met Oursus, the Locutor (spokesperson) of the Liberati, and he was impressed enough by the troll to join the group of ex slaves."

"Now the Han Fenikkusu is no more. The Han Shinko Fenikkusu has risen from the ashes of it's betrayal and dishonour and is gathering strength in the lands of the Liberati until ready to travel back home to face the Daimyô and reclaim it's birthright..."
