Every month, The Write Stuff puts out a newsletter filled with members' writing and other resources. More than just a venue for young writers to share their work, the newsletter also serves to help those writers hone their skills.
Currently, there are five sections in each issue: The Write Stories, The Write Poetry, Critique of the Month, Learn from the Masters, and The Write "Stuff." In the first two, stories and poems written by members are featured. In the next one, there is a detailed critique of a member's work by a panel of peer critics. There are three critics--
Christopher, 23
Therissa
Allison, freshman at Columbia University
In the Learn from the Masters section, a famous author is featured each month; to be a good writer, one must be a good reader. Finally, The Write "Stuff" is a section full of fun miscellany, including birthday announcements.
All original entries submitted by members will be considered for the newsletter. They should be sent to writestuffclub@yahoo.com. If you would like it be critiqued, please write "To Critique" in the subject line.
