Hiei is a well-known and popular character in the manga, Yu Yu Hakusho. To me, he's one of the coolest guys I've ever known in any mangas ! Hiei seldom smiles, talks in short sentences and would give mostly " Hn" as a response to something he doesn't like.
Hiei is cold-blooded, at the start of the story. He even went to the extent of kidnapping Keiko and almost killed her. Hiei is seen as a stuck-up dwarf ( my friend described him this way ) but I beg to differ. Hiei has his share of contributing laughs and humour to the story and his character gradually softens from being harsh and cold to understanding and humane. Still, Hiei has a streak of evil in him and that is what really attracts me !
