QAF Fanfic Recommendations
~The Cream of the Crop~
NEW: Discuss QAF fanfiction, recs, and the new On Spotlight feature at the new RRR Discussion Board.
Here's a list of what I regard as 'brilliant' QaF fanfiction... the ones I've been fortunately enough to come across that is. Being a newbie to this fandom means that my fanfic reading repertoire is somewhat limited. So please excuse. ;) I will try to update every once in a while with some new fics. You should take note that these recommendations are what I regard as top notch QAF fanfiction... which means, they are subject to my tastes. So, just a heads up.
This rec page is also my way of keeping track of all the good fics that I come across, since I am unfortunately cursed with a three second memory. I have given up writing too detailed a rec, simply because of the lack of time on my hands as well as the lack of suitable words to describe my feelings. So generally, it's a line or two of raving and squeeing... because that's what I do best ;) Also, I expect most of you know this already, but I thought I'd just bring this up anyway. I'm not some literary genius, nor do I claim to be. I'm not good at writing detailed and informative critiques. I'm just a reader, with her own personal opinion, own likes and dislikes, so please don't go around feeling offended.
NB: All fics are US QAF and of the Brian/Justin pairing unless otherwise stated. The order in which the stories are rec'd has no particular significance. I am also in the middle of rearranging all these recs... into a more satisfying (at least for me) system. Bear with me.
On Spotlight is the new addition to the recommendation section. Each week (or whenever I next update) a few fics/authors will be put in the spotlight... each of these stories will have something worth examining, exploring, questioning - whatever. Whether they be genuine fic recs, or stories that have a particular style, narration, characterisation that I feel is really fascinating and/or unique. It is important to note that not necessarily all stories featured On Spotlight are recommendations (though some will be), nor are they anti-recs!
I am but only one person, hence unable to find all of these lovely gems hidden in the infinite space that is the internet, so if you do have any suggestions as to what stories/authors you would like to see On Spotlight, then please, by all means, feel free to make that suggestion! Also, I can't help but feel that this feature has the potential to be... somewhat contentious. So let me say now that I do not, in any way or form, mean anything within this feature as an insult, or a flame, or a way to publicly humiliate anyone. But, if anyone is offended by the content, do feel free to email me to complain, or scream, or even 'negotiate', and we'll see what we can do.

The Recommendation List
I Would Come to You series and others by Myrna.
What can I say? Myrna's fics, particularly the 'I Would Come to You' series, is, in my opinion, the pinnacle of QAF fanfiction. Hell, maybe even the pinnacle of all fanfiction. Yes, I do feel the need to make sweeping statements such as these, especially when they are definitely warranted! What I love most about this series, is that Myrna does not antagonize any of the characters, and she hell of a lot does not compromise the characterisation. And I really, really appreciate that. The 'If You' series is in four parts, all first person, in the PoV of Ethan, Michael, Brian and Justin, respectively. The characterisation is superb, and the relationship between Brian and Justin, and Brian and Michael is spot on. The storyline is beautiful... the language casual yet so achingly heartbreaking, and joyous, and uplifting, and grief stricken, and, and... so many others. I can't possibly express in words just how much this story affected me, how much I love, how much I appreciate this story.
You ever heard the saying that 'less is more'? Well, London's writing is the epitome of that phrase. Her stories include Waiting Out the Cold, a ten part, post season 2 story and its sequel, Dancing in the Fire are both great read. The plot is very well developed, and the characterisation faithful... my only complaint is that at times, it seems as if she was overdoing it a bit... like she was driving a message home, a quite obvious message. Of course, these times were far and in between. Generally very well done, and hey, a story where the only problem is a deeper layer of complexity, has got to be damn well written! Her newest fic, Magnum Load is a wonderful post season 3 series. And let me tell you, for once I actually really appreciate the original character in a Queer as Folk fanfic! It's great - a light, peaceful fic, but it still had that emotional arc, that's crucial to a good story.
Where There's Heat by Erin
I only recently discovered her stories. They're all well written, but this one, in particular caught my attention. It's completely AU, and for some reason that appeals to me. I never thought myself as one who goes for completely AU stories, but it seems that I am continuously coming across authors that force me to make exceptions! Erin's writing is very... vivid. She has this uncanny skill of capturing the mood, the emotions, the senses and transporting it onto paper (a manner of speaking)... so that it feels as if you're there experiencing what's described - feeling it, hearing it, tasting it, smelling it, seeing it - completely living it. As a result, she writes some of the most realistic, hot, and steamy sex scenes I've ever had the pleasure to read. At times, I must admit, the scene becomes so... real, that I can't read more... I have to stop and just take a breath and sort of calm down. Though this is more true for 21 than it is for WTH.
Trading Spaces by Morpheus
Excellent post season 3 fic. Excellent. I more often than not, finish each chapter with a content feeling along with a goofy grin. The characterisation is good, the storyline is captivating and chapter length is pure bliss. I'm very much in love with protective!Brian and jealous!Brian and indenial!Brian and all three of these Brians make appearances in this series.
Broken Image by Susan K. James and NJPax
*wibble* Sundays have once again become the highlight of my week. Every Sunday, we are promised a new chapter of this pure genius series. Currently 4 chapters are up, it's apparently already completed, which is always a bonus. We're presented with an interesting role reversal (to some extent) between Brian and Justin, yet characterisation is still top notch. Every chapter sees the emotional progress of Brian Kinney, and this journey, ladies and gents, is not one that is easily travelled. And the revelations, and discoveries Brian makes on his journey is both such a rewarding, and at times, frustrating experience, yet everything - every reaction, every self criticism, every desire, every thought, is still so innately Brian. And that is what makes this story so fascinating. To see Brian (because it's not a copy of Brian, not a interpretation of Brian, but Brian - with all his weaknesses and strengths) put in this, almost unthinkable, situation. To see him live it, survive it, learn from it, and hopefully conquer it. My only complaint with this story, is something which I also appreciate. And that is the thorough and quite descriptive nature of the narration, which causes the pace of the story to slow down in some parts. I do understand though, that it is quite complicated to focus on both character and plot development, and it's probably unfair of me to point this out as a weakness. However, that aside, it's a rewarding read, and I'm truly grateful for the insight into the characters' minds, especially that of Brian's.
Name Your Wish by Just Visiting
I understand this to be one of the 'classic' Brian/Justin QAF stories. I'm not sure if that's true or if I just pulled that out of my arse, but whatever it is, I truly view it as a classic. I've only read it once, but I am deeply considering a second read. The story is split into 7 parts, almost a series of vignettes, each chapter giving the sense of closure within itself. But of course that's not the case, they are meant to be read together, and many elements recur down the track. JV offers us a very believable alternate reality, splitting from the canon mid-season 2 and onwards. One of the thing I like most about this series is that though it eliminated Ethan's existence... the alternative reality is still such a believable one.
Holding On to Let You Go by Lane Carson
I'm pretty sure I'm not supposed to recommend this story. Purely because it's, and probably will forever be, a WIP. But I believe that even uncompleted, this story is definitely worth a read... hell it's worth multiple reads. Laney's fic was my first ever USQAF fanfiction, so I guess you can say I have soft spot for it. But all biasness aside, you know you've struck gold within the first paragraph of this fic. The words are simple, yet like all good writing should, and does, evokes such an array of emotions, that it's incredible and and presents such a essential outlet for everything that some of us don't have the opportunity to feel in real life . I admit, going into this story, I didn't expect much as this was my first QAF fic, and I didn't want the 'over-romanticized' Brian/Justin relationship. I didn't want Brian to suddenly admit 'I love you', to even acknowledge that he does and can love. I didn't want fiction to destroy the perfect balance, perfect harmony of Brian and Justin's relationship as portrayed in the TV show. But this fic (I'm not going to say what sort of Brian Laney's written) has just -- touched something in me. It sounds corny, I know, but I'm still a bit astounded from reading it. Just wow. It's angsty, romantic, frustrating, hot and all around a true Brian/Justin.
No Regrets by Mesa
I'll be frank, the warning drew me in. I love the idea of a fic that defies convention, that breaks down barriers, that explores a place that's never been visited before. If you like that idea, then this fic is precisely your thing. Features a submissive!Justin and a not-so-fucked-up!Brian. I admit, I really don't like the idea of submissive!Justin, I don't like the idea of a Justin that's at Brian's every beck and call, that's like S1 Justin except much more... not weak, but almost... vulnerable. However, the difference in this fic is that, I enjoyed reading this new Justin, this Justin who is so familiar, yet at the very same time a complete stranger... because I want him to be. I want to not recognize him, to see him as a complete caricature of the canon Justin, but the scary and amazing thing is that I can see this Justin, this Justin that's hidden by the strong, assertive, cocky, little bugger that I have grown to love. So I see it as a privilege to read about this side of him, this side that I hope will never completely emerge in its full glory, but nevertheless is there.
Yellow Light Trilogy by Irina
To be honest, I'm not entirely sure why I like this fic so much. My only explanation, and a terribly flimsy one at that, is that I'm a sadistic person who enjoys reading about Brian and Justin's trials and tribulations. I know, I'm a terrible person, but I like to think that I'm a romantic at heart ;) Anyway, worth a read... a very good plot, I don't think I've read one of it's kind before. It's a bit weird, a bit disturbing, captivating, and at times very dramatic.
Fics by Severina
Best Laid Plans - Gorgeous. Absolutely gorgeous. It's one of these very anti-angst pieces that I add into my reading repertoire every once in a while. A true delight, that leaves you feeling, knowing that this is precisely the reason why Justin and Brian should be together. This is worth the numerous heart breaks, the angst, the torture, the wait! Perfect. Just perfect. Take Flight: Improv Series - Adorable, well written story. A continuous series of improvs, a new one added each week. Extremely uplifting, and I believe they portray the Brian/Justin dynamic quite well. A great way to spend a lazy Sunday afternoon (or in fact, any afternoon, morning, or night).
Alphabet Series by Hephaistion-Lo
This is in part what inspired me to write Needed. Hepha's series is also told in the PoV of various characters, and I loved that concept - of the minor, background characters telling the story. Anyway, this is good. I say good, because I don't have any adjectives I think would fit this series, any adjectives that will do this series justice, give it the credit that it deserves. I can't stop raving about it, maybe because in a twisted sort of way, that story is dear to me in the same way that Needed is dear to me. Oh well, no time to analyse myself, just read it. You won't regret it, I promise :)
On To You stories by E, Eveline and Jamie
I'm not going to recommend each individual story on the OTY site, because for me to properly give each of these individual stories the attention they deserve, would take forever, and I simply do not have forever. So let me just say that in general these three authors complement each other beautifully, but that is not to say that they each do not have their own unique style... because they do.
All in the Timing by Rei Kinneas
A series of vignettes, all AU, all quite possible, if the characters had waited a second, or hurried a second... Reminds me of the movie Sliding Doors, except this is much more enjoyable, with better ideas, and also emotionally rich. I love it, I laugh with it, I cry with it, I ache with it, I'm totally drawn in to the world.
So We'll Go No More A Roving: Part 1 and Part 2 by Gage
Really good sap... mixed with some angst and a stylistic un-melodramatic narration = QAF fic rec. ^^
Maps and Legends by Rachel Anton and Laura Blaurosen
I was so sure that I rec’d this already. But apparently my head must have been in the toilet because it’s not on the rec list! Anyway, it’s a must read. A post Season 3 story that is just so... right.
How It's Gonna Be by Jenn
This fic is hilarious, and written so cleverly. It's a charming little post season 3 fic, that's both witty and at times exposes so much truth in Brian and Justin that it's heartbreaking. I'm really unable to describe it, read it and you'll see.
Queer Survivor by Josselin
Original, witty and oh-so-in-character. But although at first glance, it seems so light-hearted and humorous, I can't help but feel that there's something more just brimming beneath the surface. I don't know, maybe I'm reading too much into a fanfiction series, but it just seems that there's an emotional, real, and near-tragic layer underneath it all.
Word of the Day by MintwitchProsaic
Post 314 story where Justin's statement - "I’ll be on the street peddling my ass or my art, whichever makes more money." rings truer than he expected. Love the tone and style of the narration, though at times admittedly I felt a bit lost.
Forty by Sandra Gia
I was really hesitant about reading this fic, despite the review that Rube gave it. I'm not a big fan of old!Brian fics. But, I desperately needed something to read, so I thought I'd give it a shot, it's not as if I've got anything better to do. I fully expected, going into it, to read a very mediocre, a bit sappy, possibly overly dramatic fic... that I'll probably get bored with before the chapter is out. Well, I was presented with a very different reality. Because this series was breathtaking. I always scribble down my initial reaction to fics... and this one was: Beautiful. I’m a bit breathless from reading it, from holding my breath in anticipation, from suffering rejection, as Brian suffers rejection time and time again. Oh gods… this was truly a great story and I feel awful for postponing it until now… all due to my shallowness. Rube, thank you for rec’ing it. I think that about sums it up.
Golden by Nightsister
Noir style AU B/J fic featuring the cast of QAF like you've never seen them before. Oh God, I love this style of writing, and in my opinion, Nightsister has successfully captured the tone that is essential to good noir fic. Dry wit, and sarcasm. Love it and worship her for feeding my addiction.
One Shots and Gapfillers
Eleventh Hour by Mesa
A gapfiller for episode 309. Beautiful, in every single way.
Moving Forward by Myrna
Post season 2, prior to season 3. Brian and Justin, what in the hell is going on between them? The situation as it happens, told by dear, old, Mikey. Different and fantastically so.
Little Enough by Zapatkak
Post episode 122 ficlet. Brian visits Justin... does Justin want more?
A Bunny's Tale by Severina
Cute. Very cute. And equally hilarious as well.
All of Nightsister's fics
Oh God. I feel like I've truly hit the jackpot with her one-shots. Gorgeous writing, gorgeous storyline, everything is fucking gorgeous! Also, check out her improvs... *sigh* So damn good!
More than Words by Severina
Heart wrenching in it's description. An episode 208 gapfiller. Justin breaks one of his own rules... what is Brian thinking?
Someone to Watch over Me by Severina
An episode 304 gapfiller. And this really does fill in a lot of the gaps, and not only that, it fills them in perfectly (to my ideal anyway!). Brian's thoughts from the moment he leaves the police station to Justin's visit.
Date Fights and Dream Flights by Danny
Perfect. Very uplifting fic that is hot and hilarious with some of the most perfectly balanced lines I've read in a long while. Features a jealous!Brian and an adorably-devoted!Justin. Great read.
Lachrymose by Bianca
I have never ever being affected by a piece of fanfiction as much as I have been by Lachrymose. This is angsty, real, and just simply stunning. Worth a million reads.
Alterations and Altercations by Danny
I still go all giggly when I think about this fic. Like her other one, very hilarious, and adorable, and uplifting, with sky crashing sex scenes. I just found out that they are both part of the 'Jealous' series... so there you go. Another jealous!Brian. God, it's satisfying to read!
Witness by Ethan
Shite. That is excellent. An episode 306 gapfiller... terrifically written, I am speechless.
Untitled Mikey Piece by Rachel Anton
This is just too funny. I love it! A post 308 ficlet told from Mikey's point of view. She's totally nailed Mikey, he's so real and vivid in this fic, that I can just imagine Hal Sparks acting it all out. A must read, especially after the angst ridden fics I've just rec'd!
Change of Heart by Ethan
A gapfiller for episode 312. This piece is... extremely raw. It touches all the right places and more. Words simply do not do it any justice.
Suite for Violin and Justin by Hth
What hurts most is hope.
I've always been indifferent to Ethan, at times even disliking him. But this fic really exposes a side of Ethan, a very real side of him that touches me in a way that none of the other Ethan fics that I've read had. I do think it's a good, and well thought out portrayal of Ethan, and applaud (and thank) Hth for it.
Remember by Morvoren
Post Season 3. And aching in it's truth. Wibble worthy. I do hope we'll hear more from this author in the future.
Wild Fantasies by Valerie
Another post Season 3 ficlet. Light hearted and uplifting, with fantastic characterisation and portrayal of the Brian/Justin dynamic. Another new author in the QAF fandom.
Loved by Lauren
Simple, short and realistic. Just the way I like 'em. And I was also in the mood for romance (but not of the overly sappy kind), so this fic fitted perfectly. :)
Once and Again by Jenn
I think I may very well be in love with Jenn. Either that, or she is my new 'idol', which means I'll have to shave my head, go into exile and start a religion/cult - Jennism. But then again, I also don't know if I should be grateful to her for writing this fic, or angry that I am exposed to it... to that... to all these fantastically new, and bizarre feelings that I never thought I possessed, let along *feel*. Hth's Ethan fic changed the way I felt about Ethan, this fic of Jenn's changes the way I feel for Mikey. Or more correctly, it doesn't so much change the way I feel, but redirects and opens up my perspective. Oh God. Heartbreaking. I swear, in the end my heart sort of skipped a beat. I'm a big Justin fan, and though I can understand what Justin does, I can even see canon Justin doing it, but it still upsets me, and and *frightens* me. Err.. I've made this sound like a horror story, and have probably turned most of you off it. But it's not, it's a story full of truth, reality - heart wrenching reality and... inevitability.
QAF ficlets by Silvia Kundera
Brian Kinney and the Law of Diminishing Returns
So This Is Where Forever Ends
Some Words Aren't (Ben/Mikey)
Permancy, and the Possibility Of (Mid-S3 M/J fic... I think I'm turning into a M/J shipper. *dies*)
Silvia has a very distinctive style of writing. I used to read her Harry Potter fanfiction, and was totally in love with them. Well, her QAF fic isn't any less loved by me. It's simple, and at times almost detached, but yet at the same time so fucking bittersweet, and lovely and uplifting... yes I realise some of these emotions are usually mutually exclusive, but in this instance, they're not, they're conflicted and battling each other to take prominence. I'll stop raving, and just hope that I made sense, and that you got the point, and will read her stories.
QAF ficlets by MalaCharades
sometimes, always, forever
Twink Descending a Staircase
A World Full of Commoners (Emmett story)
Angst. Pure, undiluted, real, angst. Sometimes emotion is best conveyed through simplicity. Because the tragedy lies in inarticulation... and that's just so true in Brian and Justin's case.
QAF ficlets by StarlaA Diversion
This Is Not A Pick Up Line (Gus!fic)
Remember how I was extremely excited about her writing when Dissolved first came out? Well, in the few short weeks since then, she has produced many more brilliant ficlets... all of which I adore. There is a bittersweet quality to her writing, so that sometimes I really really really need to, want to, stop, because it hurts so much continue. And more so, I'm scared to continue. But she also writes fluff, and good realistic fluff at that. Not corny or sappy, or puke inducing. Which is good, -very- good. One of her latest QAF ficlets is This Is Not A Pick Up Line, a future Gus fic, with really accurate portrayal of the future B/J relationship. Let me confess right now that this is the first ever Gus!fic I've read, they've just never appealed to me, I read this solely because of the excellent quality I've come to expect from Starla (pressure ;) ) and she hasn't let me down one bit! If nothing else, she's risen the bar with this fic. So kudos to her for that.
QAF ficlets by JosselinScrabble fic
Crying at Three in the Morning
Josselin has a style of writing fics that's both serious, and hysterical... at the same time. In real life there are tragic and depressing, and just extremely hopeless moments where you can't do anything except laugh. Similarly, there are absolutely hysterical moments that's actually not funny, in fact they're actually quite sad and painful, and that may stop the laughter for a while. Well, Josselin has amplified both these feelings in her writing, and I feel she has really captured this side of human irony. Many a time whilst reading her stories, I catch myself debating whether to laugh or to cry... or even to scream. And that's what's so unique about her writing, it's layered, the characters are layered, the situation is layered and the emotions that they evoke are also layered. I adore the tone of the narration, it's filled with irony, and reminds me at times (for some stupid reason, because the language is entirely different) of the Jameson narration, which I absolutely adore in case you're wondering.
Something to Remember
Something to Forget
I wanted to rec these two separately from the rest of Joss' one shots. My God, they are fantastic... and the writing is so bloody evocative and painful. Something to Remember is filled with this inescapable feeling of wrongness, and what makes it that much more awful is this overwhelming sense of possibility. Her characterisation of Brian and Justin are so true, that I know that if the same thing had happened in the show, Brian and Justin would have reacted similarly, and as much as I hate that, I'm grateful to Joss for writing it, for exploring a very likely scenario. Something to Forget, the sequel, gave me the closure that I deeply needed. Because I'm a wuss as well as a optimist, and I desperately search for hope in all the fics that I read (well... okay, I admit I'm also an angst whore), and I love her for providing it. I love the emotional arc that she was able to draw, presenting me with a much needed outlet for so many emotions that I would otherwise have no opportunity to feel, to express. I recommend these two ficlets with all my heart.
Outside by Zapatkak
A post bashing Justin fic that really wrenches the organs. Written very well, very in character, and I'm really really really glad that the canon went down a different route. Because it would have been so easy, so possible for Cowlip to write this, and that's what makes this ficlet so effective.
Minutia by Rube
Forever caught up in minutia. Late-nights yield the sort of conversations that couples shouldn’t be made of. Set after 314.
Good portrayal of the Brian - Justin dynamic. Good, witty, dialogue, and really really good sex scene. :)
The Language of Our Silences by Shayla
Hmm... I still recall feeling absolutely satisfied after finishing this ficlet. I love the relationship that she written for Justin and Brian, I love how it's evolved but I am undecided as to if I want that for their canon relationship. Because, in a way, it is incredibly sad... but I guess that's the way everything is in reality. Takes place in the summer following the season 3 finale.
Don't Forget Your Toothbrush by ConcernedLily
Very accurate depiction of Season 1 Brian and Justin. I love how she wrote their relationship... very true, and completely adorable ficlet.
He Leaves by Severina
She never ever EVER fails to leave me breathless and sated after reading one of her stories. I'm completely satisfied and I really can't seem to stop myself 'aww'ing.
Lick My Bum by Trisky
I cannot believe I postponed reading this until now. What in the world was I thinking? This... this... is hilarious. She has totally captured Justin's voice, his personality and the dynamics of the B/J relationship. But moreso, what I admire about this story of hers is her ability to convey the tragicness, often heartaching, aspects of their relationship with such humor. The humor doesn't hide the reality, it enhances it if nothing else, you can say that it's much needed comic relief for the continuous sadness that their reality encompasses. I'm thankful that she gave them the dignity, that I'm sure Brian and Justin would deeply appreciate.
Stop and See by Jenn
It hurts. It hurts to swallow, it hurts to think, it hurts to feel. And by God, it hurts to read. But I'm not going to cry, because this is beyond crying material. This is sitting there, staring at the screen, mouth dry, pinching self thinking this is a bad dream, sort of material. But oh is this a beautiful story. Although right now, I really really REALLY am not that thankful, I'm sure I will be once the initial shock wears off. This is Brian/Michael story with Brian/Justin references.
The Wedding by Erin/durendal
Err.. I'm not sure if she's named it anything else, but this is the name I'm associating with it until further notice. I haven't laughed this hard, this loud, this maniac-like since... well since before I can remember. This is so fantastic, moreso because I can actually see it happening! Oh Christ... must must MUST read.
Fever by The Accidental Writer
Lots of skin. Justin's thoughts as he's dancing... references to Brian/Justin. Very entrancing.
Keeping the Sky from Falling by Grace
So adorable. And I really don't want to think it so, because... well B/J shipper damn't!!! But this is excused because it's pre-Justin and also features Captain Astro. The child-like innocence, so may expectations, hopes and dreams.. oh God. A general Brian and Mikey fic (not B/M).
Double the Trouble by Annie
Never did I think I would read a crossover... a Popslash/QAF crossover to be precise. But... WOW! This is so good. Very well thought out, great characterisation, and there's just something, something extra, that I can't quite pinpoint, but whatever it is, it makes this fic good, and special and terribly enjoyable. Fun fic, takes place while Justin's in NY in S1.
Untitled by Rei Kinneas
I have always regarded myself as a OTP kinda girl, which means I avoid and sorta despise stories of any other pairing involving Brian or Justin. Well, that has totally and completely changed... because of this. This is written *so* beautifully, and it just *works*. Everything fits together, and I feel pain, and joy and I want to shout 'Ha! In your face!', and and and most importantly I *ship* Ben/Justin in this story, and I want them to be happy and I want to thank whoever's up there for bringing them together. So yeah, in short... very evocative writing, and now I really really really want a sequel and I'll admit it is me being greedy if it'll get me anywhere!
Ode to Sunshine by Rube
“I think she’s trying to say that Paganini is back for an encore.” Ethan returns... a new man. Adorable, hilarious, and I really don't feel sorry for Ethan Gold. Post S3, features the Liberty gang plus a very all-knowing Daphne (<3333). Love this.
A Matter of Time and Deeper Than Deep by Minnie
A Matter of Time is a Justin/Ethan ficlet, one of these ficlets that truly makes you -feel- for Ethan. And I know because of that, many of you will probably not read it, but I hope you won't, because then, you're really missing out on -something-. Deeper Than Deep is absolutely hilarious. It's a parody fic... intentional bad!fic and features some of the classic 'crapness' found in, not just QAF fanfiction in general, but all fanfiction. That one's Brian/Justin, and just warning, you may want to go to a private place to read this, just so you won't be mistaken for a psych ward inmate.
Echo by Jenn
I love Daphne, and I always feel that she's somehow neglected in many QAF fanfiction. Well, she's definitely not neglected here, in fact, enter Daphne, center stage. This story is... just... well, there's no words to describe it. All I know is that, it's incredible and that I'm in awe at how Jenn managed to make this work, and work so well at that. And could I just say how FANTASTICALLY HOT the sex scene was?
Well, that's it for now. Hope you found something to your taste within this gigantic pile. If you didn't? Don't worry, check back later, I'm constantly looking for new QAF stories to read! If there's a broken link, please contact me on firstname.lastname@example.org
