Wicca vs. Witchcraft, 2 diferent things often misunderstood and mixed up.
Witchcraft is an ancient Pagan culture based on the god, goddess and the farming schedules of peoples a few thousand years ago. Witches and Wiccans worship the god and the goddess, and base beliefs on nature. Wicca is a religion, Witchcraft is not. Wicca was invented by Gerald Gardner in the 1960's and is a Neo-Pagan religion, Witchcraft was around much longer. All in all they both believe in the same thing "An it harm none do what ye will" but they're still different. Each person has their own definition for witchcraft and wicca as they mean different things to different people but this is my belief... Wicca is said by many to be a new religion, others say it was around for houndreds, some even say thousands, anyway The idea is a pre-Christian religion that went underground during the Middle Ages when the Church basically killed anyone who rejected their thinking or dared to talk against them, the Church changed the Horned god into Satan, ands said you wouldn't go to Heaven (Summerlands) if you didn't go to Church every Sunday, pray and recieve the Sacraments, basically they scared the people into believing in them. The people did not know how to think for themselves most people were some kind of slave or a peasant with no education whatsoever and all they knew was what their lords and the priests told them.
