| August 2000. This is how
the Barrett Lake trail starts out. It gets fun right away! Lots of rocks and
for only six miles it's a pretty good challenge. Only two bypasses on the whole
thing, so if your there you pretty much have to do it for real. Not like the Rubicon
where there are bypasses everywhere for all the slickers. Later in the day we all
had some sort of damage. Sometimes I think this thing is rougher than the
Rubicon. Everytime we go on it something breaks. This time it was a drag link
and both front fenders. |

Here is a tight squeeze and a little three wheel action too! Just missed that fender. This trail has more narrow places that any other. It's easy to tag something, if your a rookie. |

| Here we're working thru a really nasty section. He makes it look easy with his 304 V8 powered jeep! |

One Fun CJ5 working the final obstacles approaching the Lake. He has plenty of help, (as per usual)! |

| Here is some more of our gang, Gator is staging his accent into the rocks. He sends GW on lookout. |

| Now it's GW's turn and he tags a fender! Ooooh, that's too bad, don't worry though, he owns a body shop. He's powered by a Chevy V-8 and a locker in the rear and limed slip in the front '44. |

| Nearing Barrett Lake. Ice Junior is getting impatient after a long day and wants to go fishing! Are we almost there yet?!! |

| And here is our reward for all the hard work getting there. We caught a couple Rainbow Trout and had a good time camping out. |
| Hell Hole Reservoir Trail, August '99. This is where it starts getting rough, and narrow. You can't see it here, but it's about a 1000 foot drop to the lake on our passenger side. This was right after the spring over conversion. See pictures of the installation..... |

Here we are headed down to Hell Hole Lake, August '99, Good
Trail!
