Ark Rats

Ark Rats is a small scale breeder located in Northeastern Massachussetts.  All of our rats are handled from birth and are of wonderful temprament.  Currently we are carrying dumbos, rex, various markings, amber, beige, black, agouti, and blue.  Almost always there are rats available for adoption, whether it be an adult or a baby.  This page contains photos of my rats, the rats that live in the Ark, rats available for adoption, and a section devoted to the other in habitants of the Ark.  Feel free to email me with any questions you may have in regards to rats for adoption, or any other questions you may have at

Since I am off to BOSTON COLLEGE in the fall, I will not be breeding anymore rats!

A Look Inside the Ark

Baby Pictures of the New Arrivals!

Ark Rats were members of  our "Ark" at my high school.  The Ark is home to hawks, owls, a monkey, snakes, iguanas, endangered Plymouth Redbelly turtles, tortoises, flying squirrels, oppossums, an albino snapping turtle, and other forms of wildlife that we rehabilitate.  The first Ark Rats were educational tools on the effects of different foods on animals.   Students continue to study their behavior in mazes and positive response Skinner Boxes.
