ECHOES OF MY SOUL

I am a poet and writer. I am beginning to see publishing success! I have two published poems online and more are pending. I am on the journey of my path and looking toward the horizon. A Little About Me: I was born in Cleveland, Ohio on May 21. I reside in a suburb of Cleveland. My family, and I are very close. My sister who is an artist is my greatest inspiration and supporter. Currently, I am at work on several projects including a collection of my poetry and several flash fiction stories. And most recently I started writing Haiku and fell in love with it.   Some of my favorite writers are Sylvia Plath, Maya Angelou, Richard Block, Tennessee Williams, Mary Higgins Clark and Terri McMillan. I love to write stories. My greatest inspiration comes from the great story tellers of the past like Richard Wright, William Baldwin, Tennessee Williams, Lorraine Hansberry, James Baldwin and those of present day such as Stephen King, Mary Higgins Clark and John Grisham. I am also inspired by song lyrics. My favorite song writers of the present are Scott Stapp, Brett Hestla, Chris Cornell, Bruce Springsteen, Harry Connick Jr. and Bono.

I enjoy writing Haiku and poetry,cooking, baking, journaling and old movies from the film noir days.

My family, and I share a close bond. They are my heart and soul. They give me the incentive to keep writing and striving for my dreams. My sister is my best friend. And I have grown close to some very nice people I have "met" online who are very supportive of my career and whose friendship and sisterhood I will forever cherish.
