| My Wish If I could have a lifetime wish, A dream that would come true, I'd pray to God with all my heart for yesterday and you. A thousand words can't bring you back; I know because I've tried. And although I loved you dearly, I just could not make you stay. For a cure for you was not to be. As weak and frail as you were, You lifted your head one last time and Said to me "Mommy it's time, set me free" And you laid your head back down. I held you and told you I loved you As The Lord put his arms around you And whispered, "Come with me For your journey to the Rainbow Bridge Is now underway." I watch you take your last breathe As you glided away from this Earth. For another star was created as you Entered your new life. A life of no worries of every going hungry or being ill again.
