FRY   FOOD
SOME food IDEAS YOU CAN TRY.

WHAT WORKS FOR OTHERS MAY OR MAY NOT WORK FOR YOU.

YOU MAY LOOSE A FEW SPAWNS or fry .We all did. BEFORE YOU find what works best for you.

DONT GIVE UP !!!
After you remove the male, and for the next 5 to 7 days. You can use one or all of these foods:

--Infusoria  ( green water)
--  PhytoPlex (by  KENT  found at fish
stores) I use more of this than
    green water

--  Yeast:  mix a very  small amount {16 granules}
in a cup , with water in it.
Stir until water becomes milkey. Then  take
an eye dropper, fill it about 1/2
full, put a few drops in the fry
water.   Be careful not to cloud up
the whole tank, this will only happen if
you put in  2 or 3  droppers full.

--  Brine Shrimp:  use on the 4th day.  Some start            earlier.

--   Vinegar EEls  will live from  5 to 7  days in fry              tank.

--   Micro Worms:  start on day one . Do
not put too much in. If you do they
        will cloud your water.

--Keep cover over your fry tank ,at least for the first 30 days. If not don't let the temperature  drop below 80 degees in your fish room.

--Liquid Fry:   use only one drop, then put it away, until your next spawn.

--Dry food:  Use only the amount that will fit on a  pin head.  Better yet don't use it at all. They will do much better on live food .  EELS- M Worms-
PhytoPlex

Fry after  5 to 7 days.

What you feed your fry will depend on their size. Some spawns grow faster than others.

Take a plastic 1 measuring cup  with top.
and mix these together in it.

--Put a small amount of water in the cup. Add
--Cyclop-eeze
--Golden Pearls  100 to 200 micron
   From brine shrimp direct
--Decapsulated Brine Shrimp Eggs
--Let sit for a couple of min.
-- Feed with eye dropper . They love it. Keep in
    refrigerator.

--Grindal Worms.
--Black worms
--White worms
--Daphnia  (feed them Phyto Plex)
-- Put various dry foods in a small pepper
    grinder

--I use all of the above. The size of your Bettas
will tell you what to feed them

--Bettas  have no idea  when to stop eating,The only time I had a swim bladder problem was when I fed them all the live baby brine shrimp they could hold .

You must control how much they  eat at any  one feeding. It is better to feed a little 2-3 -4 times a day, than a lot at once.
