- This new term will bring many new things, hopefully for the better, to Sedwin. I would like all of you to take a look at this before you enroll, just so you have an idea of how things are to work this year.
- Lets get this out of the way now, Homework is OPTIONAL, I know all of you have your lives to get on with so I will try not to get in the way. Although I do recommend you doing all of the work, it will not be that much, because when it comes time you want to enroll the next year, you will have to have taken a test to make sure you learned at least something to come back.
- This will be your final exam, you all have to take them, wether you decided to do the homework or not. You have to pass these to get into Sedwin for your Second year.
- You will have one exam for every class you decide to take. These exams will be held in AIM chats, (don't think about cheating because all test questions will be diffrent). You will have 30 minutes to answer 30 questions, you need 15 right to pass.,
- The classes that you decide to take will be e-mailed to you once a week by the Professor that teaches them. That is when you will get your homework too.
- There will be optional AIM classes, that will take place in a chat once a week to either learn about new things, better yourselves at the old, or even have some fun. These will also be once a week, try to make them. See the classes board for the times they will take place.
- Eventually you will want to go into a higher level of magic. Sedwin will give you a chance to challange yourself with some harder exams, you can either take the OWLs exam, (Ordinary Wizarding Level) or work extremly hard on NEWTs, (Nastily Exhaustiating Wizarding Test). In order to take the OWLs exam you must have completed 3 homework assignments, and to take the NEWTs you must have done and passed 7 homework assignments. In the 5th and 6th year you are required to take OWLs, and in 7th you have to take the NEWTs.
- Oh and this year the rule that first years can not play on the quidditch house teams has been withdrawn. So everyone try your best to make it for your house and hopefully bring home the Quidditch Cup.
