Since the 1986 birth of her daughter Chloe, Olivia has been devoting much of her time and energy towards making this world a better place for future generations.

She has served as a United Nations Ambassabor for the Environment, sort of an international spokesperson to create awareness on environmental issues. Many of the songs she has written speak of her concern for the environment. Click here for links to various environmental organizations.

Following the 1991 cancer death of five year old Colette Chuda; Chloe's best friend and the daughter of Olivia's close friend Nancy, Olivia has been spokesperson and co-founder of CHEC- the Children's Health Enviromental Coalition.

Olivia is a breast cancer survivor. Diagnosed in 1992, she has been cancer free for over five years during which she served as a spokesperson for awareness, research, and prevention. In October, 1996, she hosted the "Lifetime Applauds the Fight Against Breast Cancer." 1
