Well, I lost my heart, breast,
and most of all my spirit.
So in the later part of '94 to the beginning of '96, I was
giving up every day. Well, in '95, the doctors told my friend
that I was going to die 'cause I had give up. So my friend
said no she will not and I had 2 bouts of chemo and radiation
and so she knew that I had been a singer all my life and went
home and got all my Bee Gees CDs and tapes and when I was there
and at home they had the Bee Gees in my headphones 4 to 8 hours
day. And when I was in bed they would get out my videos. In
the end of '95 to '96 I started to get better.
Now I contribute it to God and working
through the Bee Gees to show me there is
life after bad things.
The doctors had gone to bat for me and got me an emergency
medical divorce and that was the best thing they could have done.
I truly know that God put the Bee Gees
in my head and in my friends heart
cause she knew that was all I had
left was my music and I was showed
through them and their songs that I
am a special and good person and that
I could not give up.
So every day for all these months they showed me that I was
an ok person and that I was not to fault of my ex's action. So
all their songs have a special meaning to me. When people ask
me my favorite I can't just say one. But I got better and
finally got to come home to stay. The first song was TRAGEDY
and now it's ALIVE and a song called AND THE SUN WILL SHINE.
So today I'm better and I wrote to the brothers and they were
gracious enough to send an autograph picture and I'll cherish it forever.
Miracles do happen and when you don't even think that there is hope.
