Barry Gibb: A Tribute

He was born on the Isle Of Man, nineteen hundred and
forty-six, the second born of five children and the
first born son. Oh, what pride his parents must have
felt. I wonder, did they dream he would be a lawyer or
a doctor? Who and what did they envision he would become?

Well, I don't know about you, but I'm glad he chose music
as his career, his life. For it is through the music,
that I have been able to remain positive throughout
each and every day.

If I begin to lose focus of my dreams and goals, all I
have to do is listen to the beautifully written song,

“Morning Of My Life.”
“It's only morning and you're still to live your day.”

That one line, reminds me to be thankful for each new
day, and remember that it is "my day", God's gift to me.
I can choose to live it in unhappiness and negativity
or I can choose to live it in a positive way, filled
with love, happiness, joy, and friendship.

That is how he has chosen to live his life, don't you
think? Yes, his family has been touched by tragedy and
heartache. Who's hasn't? Yet, he never lost sight of
his dreams and his goals. He has chosen to stay grounded
in the love of his family, his wife and his children.
Somewhere along the line early in life, he must have made
the conscience decision as to what was most important
in his life.

While listening to his music, you become aware of what
is most important. For what are dreams without someone to
cheer you on, share in the ups and downs, and help answer
the question, "Why are we here?" Watching him and his
brothers on stage is a prime example of the "cheering each
other on" process. Their long-lived marriages, solidifies
the sharing of life's ups and downs. I'm sure, at one time
or another, each has reminded the other of "why we are here".

Do you have a purpose in life? Do you know what's most
important to you? Fortunately, I do.

It took many a heartache, as well as the loss of my
mother to realize that this life is the only "mortal"
one we have.

LIVE, LOVE, LAUGH, EVEN CRY AS IF TODAY WERE
YOUR LAST. WHEN YOU ARE FEELING NEGELECTED,
LOST OR WORTHLESS, REMEMBER,
“MIRACLES HAPPEN.”

“Please be patient with your life,
It's only morning and your still to live your day”

And while you're at it "You Should Be Dancing", spending
less time "Alone" and loving "Inside And Out" those most
important to you

Thanks to Barry, Maurice, and Robin, for the love that
shines through your music. A special thanks to my main
man, Barry, for it is your lyrics that have touched my
heart most deeply. Somehow, you know and understand my
pain. It is through that understanding, that I have been
able to heal wounds and accept change as a part of my life

MY SINCEREST THANKS AND BEST WISHES TO
MY LITTLE WHITE MILLS BROTHERS
