How to propose or join seminars
Anyone can both join seminars and propose new ones.
Anyone interested in a seminar can join it signing up her/his name, phone number and e-mail address on the notice list put up in ALEF's notice board (Bologna, via Zamboni 38, second floor). The seminar will begin if four people at least have joined it. The lecturer is responsible for the seminar and has to be contacted for any information (date, hours, bibliography, etc). For technical reasons it is not possible to join seminars on-line, yet anyone can attend a seminar without signing up on the notice list put up in ALEF's notice board (Bologna, via Zamboni 38, second floor).
If someone wishes to propose a seminar, she/he has to contact one member of the ALEF organisation group. Then she/he can put up a notice list on the ALEF's notice board (Bologna, via Zamboni 38, second floor) filled in with her/his name, phone number and e-mail address. If the seminar's notice list reaches at least four entries, the seminar can be activated. The lecturer has to contact again one member of the ALEF organisation group in order to book a lecture-hall and to fix a date. It is also possible to plan long-term seminars booking for a later date. In
that case the lecturer has to contact one member of the ALEF organisation group with whom she/he will agree on the terms of the date.
Finally it is possible to propose conferences and invite speakers. In order to organize such activities, you have to contact one member of the ALEF organisation group, or to fill the form in How to suggest subjects for discussion.
