Abbey House Gardens, Malmesbury, Wiltshire
At the foot of the Cotswolds lies this historic abbey site, bought by two ardent naturists with the money made from property developments in London. You already know these people from TV as the "Naked Gardeners". What they offer, what you see in the images below is the kind of property development close to naturist hearts. Sheer beauty!

It is like retracing the Garden of Eden long before hatred, envy, war, greed, sex, perversion & abuse.....
before the serpent - before shame......

before clothes!
2008, 1st June & mid-July
My first visit, in late Spring, in the aesthetic company of the London Male Naturists. It was so captivating, we all retraced the trip 6 weeksd later at the height of the summer. I was glad to make a new friend in being given a lift there and back in Ed's old-school Land Rover, max-speed 55mph!

2010, August, my only solo visit to the gardens.
This involved rather pricey train and taxi fares to Kemble and thence to Malmesbury, where there is no public transport on a Sunday (be mindful of this). However I was given a lift back to Kemble after another wonderful day which remained full value for the expense.

2011, July with my BestBrightonBuddy, Rick.
I introduced Rick to Abbey House Gardens for the first time, when we cost-shared his strenuous car-drive to Wiltshire. He was overcome with the place and vowed to make at least one trip every year to this clothes-optional paradise.

2012, late August
Rick, had his campervan in full working order. So we set sail for Studland Beach, where we camped for 2 wonderful days under the ultimate hospitality of the Studland Summer Camp. So exceptional was the first time welcome, as if they had known us for years, that we could not drag ourselves away on the Sunday for Abbey House Gardens. Hence we arrived only min mid-afternoon. It was still a n awesome day. What else in Ian and Barbara's private Heaven?
