The Rose Cottage |

| Deep in the heart of the East Sussex countryside lies this working garden. The owner, retired well into his 70s, has cultivated the perfect balance between a working garden and an idyllic beauty spot. I paid a visit there with my Swiss friend Daniel in July 2008, a rare hot summer's day in a bitter year. | ||||||||||||||

This mainly gay community was true naturist. Hugh, strict administrator of this
group, once famously said, "Any behaviour at this event unsuitable to the naturist community will be met by instant eviction, closely followed by
your clothes. A classic! Hugh has been a big factor in helping me grow up in the lifestyle. Thanxxx Hugh! Why-oh-why do so many educationally-challenged bigots use naturism to practice their homophobia and look to exclude gay men from the lifestyle? I thought we were supposed to mirror society as a whole, except without clothes! The group staged two photo-shoots at a studio in 2008 and 2009.

At the foot of the Cotswolds lies this historic abbey site, bought by two ardent naturists with the
money made from property developments in London. You already know these people from TV as the "Naked Gardeners". What they offer, what you
see in the images below is the kind of property development close to naturist hearts. Sheer beauty! It is like retracing the Garden of Eden before hatred, war, greed, perversion & abuse - before the serpent - before clothes!

| Club Naturism Uncovered | ||||||||||||||

All residential naturist clubs seem to lean towards a retirement home atmosphere, with few younger members. The Naturist Foundation is no
different, but it is unique in the naturist field in staging many open events, e.g. the Naturist Jazz Festival and several national sports meetings.
It strides a 50-acre site at Brocken Hurst in northwest Kent, 50 minutes out of Victoria, door-to-door and is close to being, if not actually the oldest naturist club in the UK. It is a larged heavily-wooded tent and caravan camping site with a clubhouse, including cafe, bar and entertainments room. There is a covered, heated swiming pool with a retractable roof, a sauna, several outdoor sports courts. It is true nudism, woman and child-friendly, where the slightest misbehaviour sees you out the gate followed closely by your clothes.
