Ch. Cadenza Bandor Resn'ble Doubt
"To me, fair friend, you can never be old. For as you were when first your eye I eyed. Such seems your beauty still." Wm.Shakespeare

There are so many memories, so many stories that belong to this dog. Not all of them are mine, some belong to those folks ringside who watched us grow old(er) together, others belong to those whom interacted with Nick and I playing on the beach, going to class together or just hanging out at the house. There are VOLUMES that belong to his current owners Steve and  Diane Mierz. I didn't know it was possible for a dog to touch so many lives in so many ways. Nick has reached the ripe old age of 11 and 1/2 and I'm sure he's got many good years left under his belt, thanks to the wonderful care of his family.

I got Nick because my sheltie was stubborn and didn't particularly care for jumps. In 4-h as you progress thru the years your dog either has to learn the jumps or you get a new dog. I opted for getting a new dog. Nick was to be my obediance dog, jr's dog and show dog. Little did I know that he fufilled each role to the "T". We accomplished many things he and I. We convinced mom smooths really are cool and fun, turned alot of heads at the dogshows ("WOW what a pretty smooth!) won the state fair in sr. showmanship in 1995, place in obediance that year as well as 1996. He only sired two litters, but of the offspring that mom kept, she got Ch. Bandor's Power of a Dream, reserve smooth winners dog 1998 in Virginia Beach, as well as the ONLY smooth to have ever put a leg on the Dot Gerth Memorial trophy for Best Bred By. "Rueben's" litter sister Amanda is a champion producer and has given us such lovely animals as Ch. Bandor's Lights Out in Memphis, Bandor's Biloxi Blues, Excalibur's Power of a Dream, and Wyldrose Veritgo. Rueben has also produed numerous champions including my demon child Ch. Bandor's Only Time Will Tell. Nick's genes have been throughly passed on in his children and grand children and great-grandchildren. Nick is usually somewhere back on one of the pedigree's of the dogs that bear the Bandor name.

More Big "E" This was Nick's last dogshow.
This dog solidified my love of collies and dogshows. I can't say enough words about him and I can't express enough gratitude to Steve and Diane for loving him as much if not more then I do.
